Its Ski Time....

Now the snow has settled down a little it has left great cover at all Scottish Ski Areas....
With Cairngorm some 25 mins from the Craigerne and Nevis Range under 40 mins.....we are a good base to have whilst you check if best weather will be East or West before heading away for a day on the hills...you could do one day at Aviemore and the next at Nevis Range?

With more snow forecast (not quite as much as the previous falls....perhaps just as well?!*) this will top up on the good base and keep things in good condition.....bottom line....there will be some good skiing to be had so make sure you get a slice of it..

let is snow, let it snow, let it snow.....

Doubt if the Cairngorm's have seen such a snowfall for quite a while.....for those of you over 45 years old you will be able to recall such winters from your childhood?!*
We have seen almost enough of it now....waiting for second visit from the tractor to clear the hotel drive...this is not what we would be wanting for more than a few weeks....although the ski slopes are at last enjoying a well deserved and fab Renaisance..

Advice would have to be...if you can manage a day or two away...then the Ciarngorms are the place to be. Also, it is worth you knowing we seem to have enough salt and snow plough to deal with the situation?....for now at least?
